The Caminho do Centenário starts in Vila Nova de Gaia and ends in Fátima, covering about 212 km (211.87). The main objective of this route was to remove pilgrims from the main national road and to make possible, in most of the section, a route on secondary roads, promoting the safety of pilgrims. Take the opportunity to observe the best landscapes that our country has to offer and make known a little of the history and culture of these territories, passing through the Municipalities of Vila Nova de Gaia, Santa Maria da Feira, São João da Madeira, Oliveira de Azeméis, Albergaria-a-Velha, Águeda, Anadia, Mealhada, Coimbra, Condeixa, Soure, Pombal, Leiria and Ourém. The route was designed and managed by ACF - Associação Caminhos de Fátima, in conjunction with the municipalities, being in the final stage of implementation. [CONTENTS RELATING TO THE UPDATING ROUTE]
