If you’re planning a pilgrimage to Fátima, take extra care due to the current situation. Before preparing to leave, try to get in touch with the shrine to make an appointment, so that entry to the grounds, which currently have a maximum capacity of one third of their occupancy, can be controlled.
Take special care along the route:
– Wear a mask in public spaces;
– Keep a safe distance;
– Do not share objects or food;
– If you use common spaces, wash and disinfect your hands;
– When you sneeze or cough, cover your nose and mouth with your forearm or a tissue, which you should immediately throw away.
If you have any symptoms, do not walk for yourself or those around you.
When you arrive at the shrine, comply with all the rules imposed by the shrine’s staff or the GNR. In the enclosure, comply with:
– Social distancing;
– Wear a mask in enclosed spaces;
– Respect the designated places;
– Do not share objects or food;
– Respect the marked entry and exit routes;
– When you sneeze or cough, cover your nose and mouth with your forearm or a tissue, which you should immediately throw away;
– If you’re going to buy a souvenir, only take the item you’re going to take;
– Disinfect and wash your hands regularly.
